Healing & Thriving Together
In conjunction with World Mental Health Day, we hold our flagship Mental Health for Entrepreneurs event series: Healing and Thriving Together annually in October. Through this event series, we help entrepreneurs learn the ways to cope and reduce stress, and aim to normalise Mental Health among entrepreneurs and startup operators - allowing us to lean into vulnerability and bond with the larger community.
Angels Arena
Our annual Angels Arena event is an exciting evening of startup pitches and angel networking, where innovative minds collide. Meet prominent angel investors across angel networks and syndicates, and look out for for the main highlight: a 'reverse pitching' segment, where its the angel investors' turn to pitch themselves to founders in the room.
ASN Flagship Events
MFH (Mentor/Makan for Hope)
ASN has its roots in Mentor For Hope, a first-of-its-kind mentoring and charity fundraising, ground-up initiative in which over 250 industry leaders, venture capital firms in Asia as well as corporate professionals pledged one hour weekly to mentor startup founders in need. In return, participating founders were encouraged to donate at least SGD 50 to beneficiaries adversely impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
Continuing from Mentor For Hope, we organised Makan For Hope, where we invited serial entrepreneurs, investors or experts to host 'makan' ('to eat' in Malay) sessions. At each session, the host will be joined by seven other guests, tech founders and individuals passionate about the tech space for coffee. Makan For Hope brought together intellectually curious, like-minded folks to learn, network or help someone out through their own experience or tapping into their network.
